This calculator identifies the weekday attached to a calendar date, such as Monday, Friday or Sunday. It works across past and future dates, including leap years, so you do not need to count forward through calendars manually.
You can check which weekday you were born on, whether a future birthday lands on a weekend, what day an anniversary occurred, or whether a proposed appointment, event or deadline falls during the working week. For example, if a booking is set for 14 March 2027, this page can confirm the weekday before you make travel or staffing plans.
The result describes the weekday in the standard seven-day calendar. It does not decide whether that day is a business day, trading day, public holiday or school day. A Monday can still be a public holiday, and a weekend may still be a normal working day for some businesses or rosters.
Use the result as calendar information rather than as proof of legal, payroll or public-holiday status. If a date matters for a contract, court deadline, government requirement or workplace entitlement, confirm the applicable rule separately because those rules can exclude weekends, holidays or non-business days in different ways.
